For the past couple of years my wife and I have taken time out in December to talk about the upcoming calendar year. We list out each of our own personal goals, and we talk about goals, needs, and upcoming expenses we’ll have as a family (such as summer vacation). We then map out those goals to different months in the upcoming year.
